This training is conducted in English, with German materials available, and any questions can be addressed in German if needed. It qualifies for 50 hours of Yoga Alliance Continuing Education (YACEP). Open to all who wish to deepen their meditation practice or guide others in Yoga Nidra, the course explores this accessible yet profound self-harmonizing technique rooted in ancient yoga traditions, modernized by Swami Satyananda Saraswati. Yoga Nidra is widely used today in therapeutic and medical settings to support mental and physical well-being, acting as a natural alternative or complement to conventional treatments.
Participants will learn how Yoga Nidra facilitates deep relaxation, reduces stress, and helps to identify and transform negative habits and emotional patterns. The practice balances the nervous system, promotes self-healing, and fosters a state of conscious rest that anyone can access. The training covers both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, guiding participants through an eight-step meditation process aligned with the five Koshas. With a blend of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic techniques, the program is designed to suit all learning styles, helping students lead Yoga Nidra sessions with confidence, clarity, and creativity.
