An homage to himself, Derek Jarman’s last film BLUE is a unique cinematic event. No image, just
blue, filled with voices and sound. Jarman, who was almost blind due to HIV, found in his blindness a radical artistic form. “My retina is a distant planet”, he noted. Derek Jarman was an activist, one of the most innovative queer filmmakers of his time. Shortly after the premiere at the age of 52, Jarman passed away. A rare opportunity to hear and feel Jarman’s cinematic legacy in a very special way.
