Fiery punk, indie rock band PLAIINS have been on a steam roller since their inception in late 2020. Already playing with the likes of ITCHY, Cold Years, LEAP, Press Club and many more, the band in 2024 signed with Long Branch Records of SPV and have been working on their debut album. The hard-working group has already released over twenty songs to date regularly hitting the top playlists on Spotify since the beginning as well as features on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Introducing and there’s no stopping their momentum. PLAIINS was founded by Britain born singer Chris Reardon who had recently moved from London to Hamburg in 2020. With his band mates Dizzy Suhlrie and Flo Kaninck and inspired by the city of Hamburg, PLAIINS brings a unique blend of British punk, indie and rock, pulling inspiration from the likes of IDLES, Hives, Soft Play, Bad Nerves, The Streets and Viagra Boys. Forming a band over the garden fence doesn’t sound very punk. But this was the moment British singer Ben Galliers (The Voo) and German producer Mark Tavassol (Wir sind Helden) decided to create what is now the five-piece post-punk band Agassi.
