Zwischen ethnischen Konflikten, politischem Druck und institutionellem Widerstand entsteht eine fragile Allianz mit Mamata, einer lokalen Polizistin. Gemeinsam versuchen sie nicht nur, den Fall, sondern auch systemische Ungerechtigkeiten aufzulösen.


When two boys disappear in southern Nepal, Pooja Thapa, a queer investigator, is brought in from Kathmandu. Disciplined and aloof, she must hold her own in a patriarchal system. The trail soon leads into a tension-filled border region. Amid ethnic conflicts, political pressure and institutional resistance, a fragile alliance forms with Mamata, a local police officer. They join forces not only to solve the case, but also to fight systemic injustice.
