SALLY! honours the struggle of the activist, author and professor Sally Gearhart, who played a key role in shaping the queer feminist movement of the 1970s and 80s in San Francisco. With the help
of old friends and lovers, this documentary thoughtfully and respectfully explores her life
and in particular her political legacy. We are presented with a strong, lesbian woman who dedicates her life to her community. A portrait that follows Sally from the very beginning to her final days and brings her story to life.
