Black Magnet (USA, 20 Buck Spin) are the progenitors of the new wave of American industrial metal. Described by Revolver as “excoriating and texturally scalding metallic machine music,” the band combines machine-driven aggression with surgically sharp hooks and destructive physicality.
Black Magnet has released two LPs on 20 Buck Spin and their new full-length Megamantra is out now via Federal Prisoner.
The project has shared stages with 3TEETH, Code Orange, Chat Pile, and more — with an upcoming 2026 tour with Author & Punisher. Featuring members of All Your Sisters, Destroyer Destroyer, and Greg Puciato’s solo band, it’s clear Black Magnet play HEAVY guitar focused music.
