Jack and the Weatherman is a Dutch folk-pop band centered around lifelong friends Berry Krikken (Jack) and Sebastiaan Weerman (The Weatherman). As a duo, they’ve
carved out a well-earned place in the international folk-pop landscape and have now grown into a five-piece live band. Having made Europe their home turf, they’ve expanded their territory and are now playing major festivals and headlining their own shows on extensive world tours. Their songs have amassed nearly 100 million streams worldwideand are on repeat by hundreds of thousands of listeners. In 2022, they received a platinum award in the Netherlands for Till The Sun Comes Up, which also featured in the Dutch movie: De Terugreis.
Jack and the Weatherman are on a mission to send their uplifting music into the world. Their sound blends elements of pop, folk, and reggae and they’re wrapping heartfelt,

Jack and the Weatherman started out in living rooms and have nowadays managed to sell out venues such as Paradiso main hall, Patronaat main hall, Tivoli Pandora,
Oosterpoort, Melkweg, Strom (Munich, DE), Mühle Hunziken (Rubigen, CH) and many more. They have supported artists like Xavier Rudd, Jeremy Loops, Sean Koch,
and Chef’Special. Their dynamic and energetic live shows are described as life-appreciating and euphoric. With their inspiring message and seamless harmonies, the Jack and the Weatherman consistently moves their audience, sending people home with a feeling of connection and happiness. Their audience grows year after year.
They have written and recorded four EPs: Something Positive (2014), Homewards (2015), Some Kind of Purpose(2016) and Expanse (2025), as well as two albums: The Lucky Ones (2018) and One Of Us (2022).
Their latest record, Expanse, was released in March 2025. The opening track, “Thorns,” has unfolded as another streaming hit and is currently trending among their top five
most-streamed songs on Spotify. Several tracks from the EP have received radio airplay in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Switzerland. Jack and the Weatherman are currently working on a new album as they gear up for a busy year filled with big festivals and a world tour. They will be playing Eurosonic/
Noorderslag (NL), The Ziggo Dome, Paradiso main hall, headlining multiple festivals throughout Europe and South Africa.
