MUSKETEER

No stranger to a bustling street corner nor a grand stage, Musketeer has spent the better part of the last decade honing his storytelling skills and songwriting craft in some of Europe’s most beautiful cities.

Wind, hail or shine, this hardened Australian folk troubadour has blazed through it all with steadfast fervour, howling his way onto the stage, often consumed in some sort of biblical rapture.

He has supported acts from across the globe, including Canada’s ‘Half Moon Run’, Australia’s ‘Dustin Tebbutt’, 'Tash Sultana', Nashville based a’cappella stars ‘Home Free’ and twin brothers, ‘Amistat.’

In 2022, Musketeer undertook his most ambitious journey to date. A road trip from Oslo to Istanbul. The troubadour traveled across Europe with 7 other artists and played concerts, festivals and busked across 15 different countries.

In 2023 Musketeer began to release his most ambitious studio record thus far, a debut LP titled ‘Glorious Light.’ Working together again with his band from his home base of Hamburg, Germany, Musketeer produced the record with fellow Australian Singer-Songwriter Lucas Laufen in the annex of the Famous Gold Watch Studios in Berlin. The album explores themes of war and hope, explores Christianity, touches upon Roman and Germanic Mythology and steals lines from Dante, Dylan and Hemingway.

‘Glorious Light’ (2025) follows Musketeer’s previous two studio EP’s, ‘The North Sea’ (2021) and ‘Seven Long Years.’ (2017)

In 2026 Musketeer begins a new chapter, releasing a haunting acoustic version of his song, Empty Churches. Leaning back into a DIY approach with help from his network of musicians around the world, he aims to return to the roots of why he became a singer-songwriter in the first place. Empty Churches was recorded at home with UK folk-blues musician, Jon Kenzie.
